Worn out seating]
The seating had worn out and the material was separating from the rubber clips, so we had to replace it. It was an easy process to order and we received it within a week. After watching a YouTube video, removing the old one and replacing it was also easy and took no more than a couple minutes. The only minor complaint is they were out of the original color and there was only 2 colors to choose from because the rest were out of stock.

We bought the XL version, we now have two that are the regular XL and one that is the one with cushions. In addition to being wonderful outdoor recliners, they are also the perfect thing for someone who is recovering from a knee surgery if they don’t a recliner as part of their regular living room furniture! We bought this chair for our backyard because we already knew Lafuma made some of the best outdoor chairs in the world. The Transaswing did not disappoint. It is incredibly comfortable. The gentle rocking motion makes you feel almost weightless, and it is surprisingly easy to get in and out of.
The quality is on a completely different level from the cheaper mass produced chairs we have tried before. It feels sturdy, beautifully designed and made to last. We also really appreciate knowing that Lafuma offers replacement fabric and spare parts. That is rare these days and makes the purchase feel like a true long term investment.

My Lafuma brought me much comfort
I bought my Laguna during a period of chronic siatic nerve pain and practically lived in that zero gravity position for months. I actually used the chair in my living room where it was used for seven years before the padding ripped away from the rubber strips that connect to the chair frame. I was so sad to see that happen and so very happy that I could replace the padding piece. I love my Lafumas, have two now and bought several as gifts.

I tried a zero grav chair from Lafuma before and was saddly disappointed but as my reflexologist uses one which i love i decided to give it another try. The one I just got is twice the cost so that might be the difference but whatever this is an excellent true zero grav chair

After a great deal of effort I was able to find the replacement sling I needed for my recliner. The website is difficult at best to find what you are looking for. The site has very little information on this item, even an email to them didn’t result in much assistance in figuring out what to order. However, I took a chance and ordered my best guess and it worked. Love the recliner, I have not found another one that measures up to the comfort and zero gravity effect that Lafuma offers. The original sling lasted 5 years and 5 months. The plastic tabs that held the sling to the chair broke off, even though the recliner was always kept on our covered porch. Very happy I was able to find a replacement sling and will hopefully get another 5 years of enjoyment from this recliner.

This is my second Lafuma chair, bought for a balcony....as I just love the comfort and look of my first. There are cheaper copies. Don't be fooled. This one will last forever and look young forever too. Wish I could say the same!

It is indeed a comfortable folding-chair. Whether that comfort is worth $400 is debatable. For the cost though, everything about this chair should work flawlessly which is just not the case. The locking-mechanism meant to hold the chair in your desired position BARELY WORKS and will easily slide out of its position and I only weigh 150lbs. This is absolutely unacceptable for this price-point — especially since this purchase was meant to be an upgrade from a much cheaper “imitation” model I had been using which never had this problem (which I even purchased used). I highly recommend finding cheaper alternatives that are at least well-engineered.

I had a lot of trouble ordering on the website. I considered getting a new chair but they were all out of stock. Then I decided to get the sling, but I didn't know what it was called. The chat didn't help at all. After struggling with the site for an hour, I finally found the section to replace the sling. I finally found 1 replacement sling out of 20 or so to order! It was so difficult especially since I couldn't talk to anyone for help. It was not obvious if the product was available until I clicked on each item and each color. Too many clicks to find anything available! I received my order within 10 days (a few days ago) but have not had a chance to try it on my chair. I will do that over the 4th of July on vacation.

I made a mistake when ordering a Lafuma which I wanted sent to my son’s in KS but mistakenly kept my NH home address as I have ordered twice to my home in the last year. Lafuma staff responded to my email requesting change of address in a timely manner and corrected the issue. I have owned Lafuma products for at least 15 years. These zero gravity chairs are way more comfy than the older ones these replaced. Length and width measurements were exactly the same as old ones, however the stack height was a bit of a problem. They must fit in the passenger locker of our RV and these chairs combined with a compression strap were still 3” taller than the older ones these ones. Fortunately, I was able to move some things around and fit the in.
