The Most Comfortable Deck Chair We’ve Ever Owned
Absolutely love our Transaswing!
We bought this chair for our backyard because we already knew Lafuma made some of the best outdoor chairs in the world. The Transaswing did not disappoint. It is incredibly comfortable. The gentle rocking motion makes you feel almost weightless, and it is surprisingly easy to get in and out of.
The quality is on a completely different level from the cheaper mass produced chairs we have tried before. It feels sturdy, beautifully designed and made to last. My Lafuma brought me much comfort
I bought my Laguna during a period of chronic siatic nerve pain and practically lived in that zero gravity position for months. I actually used the chair in my living room where it was used for seven years before the padding ripped away from the rubber strips that connect to the chair frame. I was so sad to see that happen and so very happy that I could replace the padding piece. I love my Lafumas, have two now and bought several as gifts.

After a great deal of effort I was able to find the replacement sling I needed for my recliner. The website is difficult at best to find what you are looking for. The site has very little information on this item, even an email to them didn’t result in much assistance in figuring out what to order. However, I took a chance and ordered my best guess and it worked. Love the recliner, I have not found another one that measures up to the comfort and zero gravity effect that Lafuma offers. The original sling lasted 5 years and 5 months. The plastic tabs that held the sling to the chair broke off, even though the recliner was always kept on our covered porch. Very happy I was able to find a replacement sling and will hopefully get another 5 years of enjoyment from this recliner.

Overrated.
It is indeed a comfortable folding-chair. Whether that comfort is worth $400 is debatable. For the cost though, everything about this chair should work flawlessly which is just not the case. The locking-mechanism meant to hold the chair in your desired position BARELY WORKS and will easily slide out of its position and I only weigh 150lbs. This is absolutely unacceptable for this price-point — especially since this purchase was meant to be an upgrade from a much cheaper “imitation” model I had been using which never had this problem (which I even purchased used). I highly recommend finding cheaper alternatives that are at least well-engineered.

The website is difficult to navigate
I had a lot of trouble ordering on the website. I considered getting a new chair but they were all out of stock. Then I decided to get the sling, but I didn't know what it was called. The chat didn't help at all. After struggling with the site for an hour, I finally found the section to replace the sling. I finally found 1 replacement sling out of 20 or so to order! It was so difficult especially since I couldn't talk to anyone for help. It was not obvious if the product was available until I clicked on each item and each color. Too many clicks to find anything available! I received my order within 10 days (a few days ago) but have not had a chance to try it on my chair. I will do that over the 4th of July on vacation.

These zero gravity chairs are way more comfy than the older ones these replaced. Length and width measurements were exactly the same as old ones, however the stack height was a bit of a problem. They must fit in the passenger locker of our RV and these chairs combined with a compression strap were still 3” taller than the older ones these ones. Fortunately, I was able to move some things around and fit the in.

I made a mistake when ordering a Lafuma which I wanted sent to my son’s in KS but mistakenly kept my NH home address as I have ordered twice to my home in the last year. Lafuma staff responded to my email requesting change of address in a timely manner and corrected the issue. I have owned Lafuma products for at least 15 years. I’ve been very pleased with my Futura air comfort XL
I’ve been very pleased with my Futura air, comfort XL chair. I’ve gone through a variety of chairs in the backyard from hammock chairs to camp chairs and this is the one that gives my the best support where you can just completely relax without having to hold any of your body.
My only knocks are that the pillow padding could be a little bit thicker. And I’ve been having problems with one of the clips at the bottom, always popping out, which is kind of a pain. No damage yet, but you do have to be careful because this seems like you could tear one up if you’re not careful.
As it seems clear how long Lafuma will stock this stuff, I went ahead and ordered a replacement canvas pad for it.
The chair is expensive, but I don’t regret paying for it.

Love the chair but…
Love the chair, it’s very comfortable. It is a little stiff, but I’m sure that’s because it’s new. I bought it for my reflexology practice. Upon setting up the first time, 2 of the hooks came undone. I was definitely disappointed, as this is not a cheap chair. They did pop back in, but it has happened a few times. Is this normal?

I don’t understand how a French brand can not produce this product with a more elegant design for situations where it doesn’t need to be transportable. Replaced my 2012 Lafuma zero gravity
I owned a Lafuma since 2012 and the frame broke. I ordered a "zero gravity" chair from Wayfair it was awful and not a zero gravity chair. I went to your website and found another Lafuma that was at an affordable price plus I saved an additional amount, too. I love my new Lafuma chair. It is so easy to adjust and so comfortable. I gave my old Lafuma to a neighbor who said he can fix the frame. He is excited about his Lafuma, too.

Long lasting and most comfortable chair!
I had my previous LaFuma chair for maybe 20 years. When my granddaughter jumped to join me in the chair, some of the rubbery connections from mesh to steel ripped. Time to get a new chair.
This time I got a nice padded one, though it's higher and stiffer than the last one, and I can barely touch the floor when sitting upright. Still, it's my favorite chair in the whole house!

Not the product they used to be
When the chairs had laces holding the slings in place, while they stretched out over time, they were easy to replace. Now the replacements have plastic tabs holding the slings in place. They are very hard to put on and I’m lucky if they last three months. They cost $165 apiece for the size I need. That being said, for those three months, they are so comfortable.
