I’ve been buying Masons since the early 90’s. I try to buy something every season, usually shorts and combats etc. It’s top stuff, but not as durable as it was in the 90’s. They had shops all over in those days, and the UK. Now we can only buy them on line.
I get they are premium products, but the same pair of shorts is 40% dearer on the wed site, than they were this time last year. And thats just on the web site. Unfortunately, the utterly inept Labour government has now added additional duty and charges, to stuff purchased from Italy, like somewhere between 30 and 35%.
So that pair of shorts that cost £180, will now cost you £225 to get the parcel through your door. That’s just one pair of shorts…… Shipping can add more if you’d like it to……
Customer service is top notch, as you’d expect from a top notch retailer, but the prices are now astronomic.
Personally, it’s the rather heavy straw that has broken the camel’s back, there will be no further orders under the present circumstances, the items are just prohibitively too expensive, which is rather a shame.

We fully understand your concerns about the general increase in costs, particularly regarding duties, customs tariffs, and additional taxes now applied in the UK. Unfortunately, these are measures imposed by the British authorities following Brexit, and as an Italian company, we have no control over them.
Regarding the price of the item you purchased, please note that last year you used a 30% discount code, while this year you used a 10% discount code. Therefore, the price difference is due to different discount codes you used.
That said, we would like to emphasize that the quality of our garments—the attention to detail, the choice of fabrics, the fit—has remained unchanged or even improved, more careful and meticulous, and continues to embody the sartorial values on which Mason's has built its identity.

I ordered already mny times and it was always perfect. Ordering, support via whatsapp und delivery and also the piece of clothing and material. And you get a very nice cardboard box. I only can recommand Masons's from A to Z! Mille gracie
