A great product. Would had to go back to strips ...

A great product. Although I have had a few warranty failures over the years, the last failure was outside of the warranty, so I have purchased another new one. Even with the frustrations, it's still a whole lot more accurate and easier than using strips to test chemicals. I love this product.

God service. Men tilfredstillende fornøyd med ico

God service, og ico er topp når den virker. Har slitt med ph sensor og fikk ny. Men den nye ser ut til å leve sitt eget liv. Den måler opp mot ph 8-9, hopper litt opp og ned. der strips viser at ph er 7-7.2 mulig den må kalibreres? Trodde de var kalibrert fra fabrikk.

Ondillo WIS Hot Tub Analyser

After about 15 months in operation, my unit would not hold a charge. It had been operating fine up until then. I did some research online and a vast number of users complained of a similar issue. When I contacted Ondilo, they said the core unit was broken & beyond repair from what data they could see online & insinuated that I had not closed the lid properly after a charge or removed the sensors and not re-installed them properly . They did offer a paltry 15% discount on a new core unit but that was the extent of their customer service. I purchased the unit when I bought my hot tub. I had initially wanted an in line unit but the sales rep convinced me that the Ondilo unit was cheaper but produced the same outcome. I wish I had stuck to my original choice . 15 months operation is laughable. If anyone is considering a purchase, my recommendation is to stay well clear of this product . I will also be surprised if this review actually appears or if it will somehow be deleted. We will see.

Disappointing Warranty Handling and Misleading App Recommendation

I am very disappointed with Ondilo’s handling of my warranty case. The warranty on previously replaced parts should have been renewed for another 2 years, but Ondilo refused to honor this. On top of that, the app recommended replacing a probe, which turned out to be completely unnecessary—the probe was not defective. The real issue was with the ICO unit. To get the device working again, I ended up spending almost as much as the cost of a new device. Ondilo only offered a 30% discount on one replacement part, which I consider insufficient. To be fair, the support team was at least responsive and provided answers within an acceptable timeframe, but overall, this experience was frustrating and disappointing.

First product was sold to me under the wellis brand in 2023. This failed in 2024, so a replacement probe was sent out. This did not work, so a whole new core device was sent under warranty. This lasted another 18 months and has now started to fail. Despite me spending £80+ on a replacement probe, I was then told the device has failed again, and the customer support team offered me 30% off a replacement. Two weeks on, after a lot of toing and froing on the tracking, the tracking suggests the parcel is going back to the sender! Despite not even making it out of France. Support is difficult to reach, and is slow to reply. The devices don’t last. It’s a fantastic product when it works but it fails too often. There doesn’t seem to be a decent cost effective alternative…

I ordered and paid on 18 April, but didn't receive any news from you. When I contacted the client service, I was told that there was an issue with the paypal payment, although the money was withdrawn from my bank account. Why didn't Ondilo contact me to inform me of this issue? As agreed, I then sent a proof of the payment by mail on Wednesday, but again no news from Ondilo and the status of my order is still 'en attente'.

Pleased with the resolution despite the cost

Very disappointing to find out that my Smart Pod was only a few weeks out of guarantee when it decided to go wrong! I was hopeful that Ondilo might have seen covered it, but sadly not. I was however happy with their resolution for me to purchase a replacement unit at a discounted cost. Strangely, the replacement unit actually works much better than the original unit so I suspect the one I originally purchased wasn't fully working properly in the first place.
