I originally had ordered this part from another website which gave me a delivery date of 3-5 business days. When that rolled around and still nothing had arrived I tried to follow up with them and the item was actually on back order for an estimated additional month. I cancelled that order and went to FixParts who had the exact item - ordered on a Monday and the part was here by Friday with ZERO hassle. Will never be using the other site for any items again.

Before ordering a part from FixPart, I checked that the model number of my device was compatible with the part on their website however when it arrived it did not fit as it was too small. I contacted Fixpart who sent me a label for returning it but told €18 would be deducted from my refund if I use it (or I could pay separately to send it back myself). I explained, and provided evidence that, in such cases where I didn’t change my mind about the purchase but the item was not as described on their website and therefore not fit for purpose, in accordance with my consumer rights I should not have to pay for the return. They then said I had not sufficiently proven that the model of the device I own is the incompatible model. However the proof they asked for is unreasonable since it does not exist – they want a photo of the device with the detailed model number. This number is not printed on the device. I sent the only possible proof, namely a photo of the device with a higher level over-arching model number, my proof of purchase with the detailed model number and a photo demonstrating that the part does not fit. I genuinely cannot understand why the company are refusing to honour my consumer rights in this matter at this point and it is very disappointing. This was a simple mistake on their website which could easily be resolved by them but for reasons I can’t understand it seems to be more important to them to unfairly claw some money for shipping from me than to resolve it honestly, to leave me with a good customer experience and prevent me feeling the need to warn others about my experience in this review. Since I know my consumer rights, I am now taking actions beyond this company to recover my money. In the meantime I hope this review helps to prevent others from getting caught like I did. There are plenty of decent, honest online retailers out there so I really encourage people to avoid this one.

Very disappointed with the returns process. Firstly I asked why I received an incorrect part. I have used the site once every- fridge door seal proved to be for the freezer compartment. I still can’t see how this was highlighted to distinguish. I was sent pdf instructions for returning but given contradictory instructions by email. Three times I queried, no clarification. I gave up and followed pdf. There was cost to me to return, and I still don’t accept I was in the wrong. Will try not to use again.

Ordered the part on 1/2 November. It’s now 1 dec and I have not received the part plus I’m getting a review to review something I have not received. Very poor. I contact you over 2 wks ago to see where my part was, only to be told it wasn’t in stock. I would not have know this only I contacted you.

Paid extra for an item to have it delivered quicker (5to10 days) 5 weeks later it arrived. No notification of delay. Had to inquire about the order was told it was out of stock and had to be ordered in. No apology no refund for quicker delivery.

I ordered the replacement part for our dishwasher. The delivery was to be 2 to 4 working days. The part arrived 10 days later. I asked for a reason why this was delayed and again i am still waiting for an answer.

Delivery time online is misleading

The company states "delivery within 2-4" days but it actually takes a week and they do not notify about late deliveries or items out of stock. I wasn't impressed with the service

Not all Delivered

To date (17 days from order) i have only received half of my order. No further communication from supplier as to when i may receive the last part. I have only received the pump.

Item has not arrived yet. When tracked it it has spent 6 days travelling through Germany and has not yet left for Ireland. Am wondering if it's walking...?!
