I originally had ordered this part from another website which gave me a delivery date of 3-5 business days. When that rolled around and still nothing had arrived I tried to follow up with them and the item was actually on back order for an estimated additional month. I cancelled that order and went to FixParts who had the exact item - ordered on a Monday and the part was here by Friday with ZERO hassle. Will never be using the other site for any items again.

I ordered a part on 05/06/23, it said when I ordered 3-5 days for delivery. Today 16/06/23 and still not arrived. I have emailed twice and told that they are waiting on the suppliers to respond to them. Not good enough, if part did not meet deadline that was promised they should get the supplier to send another one. I will not be ordering anything from fixpart ever again.

Part I got is the wrong size, nowhere in the process did I have an opportunity to check it, as in specs on the part not provided. Shipping €10 for a tiny envelope ridiculous. I’m down €20 and the things not fixed - ripped off and don’t have the energy to do anything about it. Fuck you - I won’t use you again, please delete whatever data you have on me and don’t contact me again. Thanks Rob

Don’t believe claims of stock availability

Stock availability and delivery times on this website seem to be a total fiction. A part which was listed as being delivered in 3-5 days was actually out of stock, and wasn’t shipped for another 2 months. Once shipped it still took a week for delivery. Also when I first ordered they billed me twice and took almost week to respond to my refund request.

Beware

Before ordering a part from FixPart, I checked that the model number of my device was compatible with the part on their website however when it arrived it did not fit as it was too small. I contacted Fixpart who sent me a label for returning it but told €18 would be deducted from my refund if I use it (or I could pay separately to send it back myself). I explained, and provided evidence that, in such cases where I didn’t change my mind about the purchase but the item was not as described on their website and therefore not fit for purpose, in accordance with my consumer rights I should not have to pay for the return. They then said I had not sufficiently proven that the model of the device I own is the incompatible model. However the proof they asked for is unreasonable since it does not exist – they want a photo of the device with the detailed model number. This number is not printed on the device. I sent the only possible proof, namely a photo of the device with a higher level over-arching model number, my proof of purchase with the detailed model number and a photo demonstrating that the part does not fit. I genuinely cannot understand why the company are refusing to honour my consumer rights in this matter at this point and it is very disappointing. This was a simple mistake on their website which could easily be resolved by them but for reasons I can’t understand it seems to be more important to them to unfairly claw some money for shipping from me than to resolve it honestly, to leave me with a good customer experience and prevent me feeling the need to warn others about my experience in this review. Since I know my consumer rights, I am now taking actions beyond this company to recover my money. In the meantime I hope this review helps to prevent others from getting caught like I did. There are plenty of decent, honest online retailers out there so I really encourage people to avoid this one.

Would leave less stars if I could. Terrible serve from start to finish. Ordered a part on the 12th website said in stock and 5-7 days delivery. I emailed on the 23rd to request an update. Was told "The delivery date is yet unknown. Should you wish to cancel the order for this reason," I said I would like to cancel. The status of my shipment would change each day saying it was processing and delivery time kept getting longer. 24th I asked them to confirm my order was cancelled. 25th I was told they couldn’t cancel my shipment as it was already processed and was going to be shipped that day. It was not shipped that day and was still showing as being processed. I requested my product be cancelled and a refund be issued again. 26th I was told "We have contacted the supplier to initiate an investigation and will be back in touch as quickly as possible" Then received an auto email from the site to tell me "Product no longer available" and offered me to cancel or another part. I requested the refund again. I received an email saying the refund had been issued. No refund issued I emailed again 30th asking for an update on the refund. Finally I was issued the refund this morning. So from start to finish was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend using this site.

Poor Delivery Time

I ordered a door hinge for a washing machine I desperately need last Thursday & said that standard delivery is 1-3 working days (this Tuesday at the latest). It’s now Wednesday & the part is still listed as being en route from Germany to Ireland with the most recent update being from last Thursday night when the part left DHL. Either DHL has had a very rare off day or FixPart are deliberately misleading consumers who don’t have a week or more to wait for vital parts for their broken washing machine.

Part got lost, several emails to sender and supplier later it surfaces, also thought I was getting a kit to repair the runners in a dishwasher, I got one of of a set of eight, website unclear, and in the sequence of only getting one little piece of plastic for 22 euros plus delivery charge, you are robbing bastards, but hey ho, never again and will be spreading my experience Bye Bye please remove me from your mailing list

I ordered and paid for a small fitting via telephone. After three weeks no goods have been received and the invoice raised following payment quoted a different sku to that ordered. Despite one phone call and one email to raise this matter and a promise to get back with a response, this company has failed to respond and address my issue. Clearly customer service is not a priority. I am simply looking for someone to take the time to review my order and confirm to me when the correct sku will be supplied. This is not an unreasonable request which is simply being ignored.

Returns policy & exchange…

Having spent a lot of time navigating the website to ensure we matched what we thought was the correct oven door we needed to replace..it transpired that when we received it was not compatible! Also there was a 14 day returns policy which we were not aware of, (not documented or referenced in the confirmation of order or delivery) we were a little outside of this timeframe granted, but they would not accept a request to exchange for correct product. Very unprofessional, no one to speak with over the phone, all via email. Will not do business again!

Order not received

Despite offering a 3-5 day delivery, over 2 weeks later I still haven't received my order. According to tracking it is currently in France and has not been updated for 4 days. I contacted customer services twice, the reply took 3 days. The first reply was to send me my tracking code, again, the second said they are raising a query with their courier service.
