We ordered a new low level bookcase-cum-sideboard (and two small side tables) from Pickawood for our new home. Whilst it took about 11 weeks to arrive, when it did it was well packed and delivered: all the components survived unscathed from Hamburg to Manchester. The assembly instructions are a bit generic, but if putting a flatpack furniture cabinet together doesn't scare you, (think big blue and yellow shed,) you'll be able to work it out/do it. The product itself is basically upmarket flatpack furniture; yes it costs considerably more as a consequence, but it is much better quality & bespoke to you. If needed to, it could move house with you and survive. As the picture demonstrates, our only problem is that the bookcase wasn't big enough to contain all the stuff we bought with us! Would order stuff again from Pickawood.

Great communication and updates on the order. Beautifully crafted bespoke product, very easy and straight forward to assemble. The design process on their website was excellent too. Would happily buy from Pickawood again.

Loved designing the unit - there's so many controls and we got it exactly how we wanted it, down to every last possibly measurement. Took a while to arrive, but on the low end of the estimated delivery window. Constructing it was actually a lot easier than we'd feared (it was a lot of boxes and a fairly daunting diagram, but made sense when you got down to it) and are so pleased with the result. If there was one thing that could be improved it was only that the numbers printed on the labels on each individual piece could have been a bit bigger as they were a little hard to read and hard to check against the very small labels on the build diagram.

Excellent quality product and service. The only thing I can think of that you could do better is make the schedule tracker more accurate; i.e. update it weekly with the estimated number of weeks to delivery.

Slightly later than anticipated due to Xmas holidays but well worth it. Top quality and great delivery comms.

I'm delighted with the items received. Much better quality than the usual "flat pack" furniture. My only concern was surrounding the delivery which was not a great experience. The company that they used were pretty unreliable. However, the units themselves are great and have alleviated my storage problems. Many thanks

Excellent customer service. I had an issue with my bank and the customer care team provided me with guidance and reassurance. Fast production and delivery process, I ordered from UK at the end of june and my chest of drawers was delivered early septemeber. The chest of drawers looks gorgeous, high quality material and no issues during the assembly. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend Pickawood service to everyone. It worth every single penny.

Having a custom-built 5m long sideboard in my lounge is one of the greatest things I've ever changed in my home - Pickawood's website is incredibly easy to use, delivered with great care, the supplied joins and fittings are of the highest quality, and the end result is an amazing unique look specific to your room. Attached photo so you can see just how good the Premium Decor Walnut looks. It's fascinating to see what was once a computer-generated image on your computer screen now in front of you in real life! Doors I selected have push-to-click mechanisms held shut with magnetic plates for them to hold closed, wasn't sure how they'd work before ordering but very impressed with the clean look, I know sideboards in a lounge are not too common and didn't want handles sticking out so happy with the result. Suggestions to Pickawood for easier assembly first time around, probably only applies to mine as I had so many similar parts to sort out: Slightly bigger codes on each individual component, the codes are so small I had to take a photo and zoom in to ensure I was holding the correct door/shelf. Clearly identify when more than one type of hinge is sent - the hinges for the middle doors and hinges for the outer doors are very similar - although it is stated in part of the instructions that more than one type exist, the diagram wasn't clear that it applied to my design and I didn't make sense of it until after I'd put them in the wrong places.

Really pleased with my custom bookshelves, they look really smart and I was able to optimise the space for all my books. The assembly service was great too & I was glad I booked it since they looked very tricky to put together. My only suggestion for improvement would be to streamline how you book the assembly service, I was left unsure what was happening once my order was dispatched & had to chase. I think this was the process and not the people. 10/10 would buy again!

We were able to fully customise the cupboard we ordered. Very user friendly and easy to navigate and select everything we want. Production and deliver was within the communicated time frame. Assembly was a bit more difficult as the instructions manual was generic and not customised to the features that we had chosen so we had to figure out which steps are applicable. Overall good quality and satisfied with the order.

From the start and measuring a unit myself before placing the order, and then correcting an error I had made all the way through the process finishing with a great installer and a beautiful bookcase. We have been delighted with Pickawood and would not hesitate to recommend them

From beginning to end the process was very straightforward. It was good to be able to design furniture to fit the space and fulfil our requirements. Telephone support was very helpful. Delivery was on time and the packaging of items was second to none. The fitting service followed two days later and the fitter was accurate and extremely hardworking We are very pleased with the end result.

Excellent product...really like the bespoke design element so you get what you want, the materials are brilliant, the build is easy to complete and extremely well put together. So impressed I've ordered another set of shelves...just wish they would get to me sooner!!

I needed two made to measure bookshelves. The app was super easy to use. The shelves came exactly as specified, high quality finish, easy to put together. Not cheap but perfectly what I wanted. I’d use again

Communication was generally very good. The product was exactly how I had asked it to be. Both sideboards were made to exact specification, and they have added huge value to the appreciation of my home.
