Answer by gardens4you.ie
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Our plants are cultivated outdoors, and in mid-August or September yellow leaves are normal and not always a sign of disease or poor quality. To assist you further, please contact our customer service team with photos of the plants so we can review your case.

The plants arrived sickly, dying or dead.
I have sent photos of 15 or more of them to the company.
The plants sat in the nearby (Kilkenny) FedEx warehouse for at least four days prior to delivery.
FedEx scheduled and cancelled delivery three days in a row.

We are sorry to read that you left a negative review, especially as we would like to reassure you that the order was fully covered by our guarantee.
As previously mentioned, the order was placed during an extreme heatwave that affected much of Europe, with temperatures reaching 36ºC for nearly five days. Despite this, we have already offered you a 50% discount and have extended the guarantee until 30/09/2025.
Reading such a review is disheartening, as we have done our utmost to encourage you to give the plants a chance to recover, and of course, to inform us if they did not. We would sincerely appreciate it if the extended guarantee and the goodwill gesture of a 50% refund were also mentioned in your review, rather than describing our products in such a negative manner.
This is particularly disappointing for us, as we have acted in full transparency and honesty throughout.

All our plants are cultivated outdoors, except for the Venus flytrap. It is possible that the plants suffered during transit due to the recent heat wave. We kindly recommend planting them as soon as possible, as this will give them the best chance to recover.
Please rest assured that your order is fully guaranteed until 26/08/2025. Should any of the plants fail to develop properly, we will offer a replacement or refund — there is no risk involved on your side.

2 Orchids - both broken and managed to break the plastic pot one of the Orchids was in.
The order was packed very carefully but the transportation was a disaster.
Answer by gardens4you.ie
We carefully checked the pictures, and we do not see any visible damage to the orchids themselves. The roots of orchids, especially Phalaenopsis, can sometimes appear dry or silvery—this is completely normal and part of their natural growth cycle. These roots are aerial and often grow outside the pot as well. The condition of the roots you see is typical for healthy orchids and not a sign of damage.
Orchids go through a specific cycle during the year: blooming, resting, and growing. After blooming, they may drop their flowers and enter a rest phase, during which the plant focuses energy on root and leaf development. As long as the roots are firm and the leaves are healthy, the plant is alive and will bloom again under the right care conditions.
If you feel there is specific damage we may have missed, please send directly to our customer service close-up photos showing the area of concern, and we’ll be happy to assist further.
