Plants were healthy and delivered in just a few days . All good experience from start to finish . Great website ----- good info and timely updates on purchase. I have a 23 year old garden and am by the sea with a windy wet climate so gardening is a challenge . Never very cold but always quite wet .
Hydrangeas and Berberis along with a handful of other shrubs and perennials survive nicely here so my garden has always brought me many compliments . My recent purchases from you will of course further enhance my garden.
Dead,rotten and unrecognisable plants sent!!!
I have received my order and I have never seen anything like this before: dead, rotten, mouldy and unrecognisable plants. This must be some joke or I don’t even know what to call it. There is no way, you can plant them. I just want my money back and someone to collect that stuff, as I am not wasting more money to send those plants back. I already paid more than 120 euro.
We have checked in our system that Lilium Oriental arrived damaged and the sum of €23.80 has been refunded on an order of €126.85, one star is very poorly rated and graded as the rest will develop normally.

I got the Venus fly trap, but it came very poor condition, kind of half death.

The heads of carnivorous flowers live for a few days and then die. This is part of the plant's natural cycle, not the result of buying it on the net. Carnivorous flower heads who turn black need to be removed as the plant grows.

Ordered 4 iris ensata last year. They were completely shriveled up and didn’t grow. Ordered the same this year and the same thing happened.. Very disappointed. Drew this to their attention and was dismissed. (Other plants in the order were fine.)

Your previous order was from april 2022 the guarantee ended in October 2022 and this is the reason why the warranty was void. Our irises are dried rhizomes on a grid. A dry rhizome loses 80% of its volume. Just soak them before planting them in the sunniest part of the garden. The order from 15/04/2023 is guaranteed until the 24/06/2023 don't wait for the end of the warranty to contact us with pictures of these rhizomes if the plants failed to grow.

We are sorry about what happened and we mentioned it to you. We know that on the 2 orders sent packages that were bundles (several boxes attached together) were separated and lost by dpd.
We have after investigation with the carrier as soon as possible replaced and refunded what could not be shipped anymore. It's a pity that your commentary doesn't mention this at all.

As we are based in the Netherlands, our site recommends that you keep an eye on your mailbox as automatic messages often arrive as spam if you have an antivirus. Again our confirmation email arrived probably in your spams or deleted items and the only thing you think makes sense is to leave a star?The order was shipped the 28/04/2023 delivered the 04/05/2023.

After shiping delivery to Ireland is about 4-5 working days weekend and bank holidays not included. We were closed on April 27/04/2023, a holiday celebrating the King of Holland's birthday as indicated on our website. Your order with Achillea arrived today 02/05/2023.

Not great...you'll probably have to order 30% more than you need
I ordered circa 90 Stipa pony tails...they arrived promptly and I planted them within 48 hours. A couple weeks on and 25 have died. I've sent 2 emails to customer service asking if they can be replaced as explained on the website, but have not even received a reply.
Beware to buyers that you may have to buy 30% + extra to account for plants that die...and don't expect their customer service to actually support or even engage with you.

Our last email conversation was a month ago and concerned lavenders. You have never contacted us for anything else except the first order which we sent back at our expense because you gave us an incomplete order as well as the wrong city.

Buy but no delivery or response from business..
I placed an order on the 10 April.
Upon payment invoice stated I would receive order within four days.
After four days elapsed and my order was not delivered , I sent an email enquiring when the order will be delivered.
I got a response stating that a ticket has been issued to follow up someone would contact me shortly. I was also told to be patient and that gardens 4you were very busy, and sending emails would only delay issue being resolved. After two days I still had nobody contacting me. Now a week later and still no phone call email, or order delivery. What a shame if businesses treat paying customers as if they are actually more of an inconvenience and treat them in such a condescending way. I shall rather pay more and support local village nursery

You contacted our customer service department on the weekend when we were closed, sending multiple emails of frustration and saying things you must regret. We came back to you immediately informing you that the package was on its way but that you could still refuse it. The package was accepted the next day 18/04/2023 since you tried everywhere to make us wrong and to obtain the refund of this order via Trusted shops by pretending not to have received any answer from us, we will report you and provide Trusted shops with the evidence of our conversations by emails

Leave a negative comment when your package left normally after the long Easter weekend and arrived on 18/04/2023 has no sense. Our site indicated the resumption of shipments from 11/04/2023 by order of arrival in our system an automatic mail with tracking had been sent to you.

To leave a negative comment when the restrictions on certain products on our site come directly from the Irish government is not honest on your part because this decision does not belong to us. Many invasive plants are no longer allowed to be exported to your destination it is not a choice of our company but a local decision.

As informed by mail and Unfortunately since the Brexit it is no longer possible to ship our products to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, no order can be place on the website for those destination. The order has been cancelled and refund the same day

Scam!
This company have a 100% guarantee email, which they send after you order. It is a total scam. I complained about my plants arriving smashed and was completely ignored. They then cancelled the rest of my orders with no explanation or reason. When I enquired, they accused me of being aggressive. Terrible company.

Rude, unprofessional, incompetent
Rude, unprofessional, and totally incompetent; the worst customer experience I've ever had - I emailed them to ask what was happening with my order, as they had sent a tracking link which didn't work. I received a blunt, garbled email informing me that my order had been dispatched to the wrong country. This was 6 days after I'd placed the order and the day before my mother's birthday. When I said I was disappointed, I received the rudest email I've ever had from a customer service team, which also didn't accept any accountability.

Your package was mistakenly directed to Germany by dpd the carrier which we regret. In the meantime you have been reimbursed and the package was later delivered to Ireland. We do not read any rudeness in our emails, you have been appalling with our customer service in your tone and form since your first email. Our responses are below:

For some unknown reason the package 05162019066846 has been directed to Germany by dpd.
We don't know yet why we will check with the carrier. Unfortunately the pot Alice Ocean 14 cm is no longer in stock, we cannot resend a new order.

Despite your disappointment this error has nothing to do with our company the package was sent to Germany by dpd (loading error) we had printed on the package the correct address.
We ship to 22 countries in Europe, everything is automated our customer service does not follow the thousands of packages shipped every day, it is impossible, we give each customer the possibility to track their package in real time.
The refund is in process.

Not delivered to correct address, completely different postcode. Had to chase down and couldn't find and got redelivered by recipient which it was wrongly delivered to. Also looks nothing like picture shown, not one rose in bloom which I think should be mentioned before buying

it is with regret that we learn of dpd's delivery error. If you had informed us we could have sent the driver to collect the package and deliver it to you. Our plants are all grown outside all year round
The pictures on our site always show the mature product, our plants are grown outside it is -2ºC in the morning we offer 2 months of growth on all our products.
