I have been using the reward calendar for booking trips in the past - which is an extremely helpful tool. For about two months that tool is no longer available, which makes the process of booking online very tedious. A user needs to check each day and different airports for what they can afford. If you are booking for two people or more it becomes even more challenging. I have called AF, and have gotten a variety of responses. The last one, Andrea at AF said there was a”glitch” and clients and AF booking agents were never supposed to see the calendar of reward travel … rather both groups are supposed to search for flights day by day. The calendar only works for cash purchases. I said “WHAT?” I have been searching this way for a couple of years, and now the “glitch” was fixed by not allowing such a helpful tool to be removed?? Once I hung up, I checked award travel with my husband’s account and “Voila” it worked! However, after checking award travel a few times, it disappeared again. I have recommended people sign up for the AF flying blue program (2 people signed up for your credit card as a result) in the last year. I think you have a good program, however I am not understanding the contradictory responses from your employees and the removal of a very practical and useful trip planning tool, that has no downsides that I can see. Other airlines use such similar tools. It also frees up the phone lines if people can plan their trips online. I suggest you rethink this or fix the new “glitch” if it was unintended.

Dear Air France Customer Service, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your airline. I am a frequent business class passenger, and I have always chosen Air France for its reputed excellence in service. However, on my most recent flight, I encountered several issues that have compelled me to inform you of my dissatisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of competence displayed by the airport personnel and authorities. Despite booking a business class ticket, I was surprised to learn that there was no provision for business class passengers' transportation. This is highly unprofessional and not in line with the level of service that I have come to expect from Air France. Moreover, the wait that ensued was unacceptable. After being informed that there would be no separate transportation, I was made to wait in a bus for over 20 minutes until it was full of passengers. This unnecessary delay caused inconvenience and discomfort to all passengers involved. Additionally, once we finally reached the plane, we were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes inside the bus before being allowed to board. Such delays only serve to tarnish Air France's reputation and detract from the overall customer experience. It is my earnest request that Air France takes swift action to rectify these issues with the airport personnel and authorities. Measures need to be put in place to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of passengers, especially those in business class. This will not only improve the airline's reputation but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a superior level of service. I trust that Air France, being a reputed and esteemed airline, will take this complaint seriously and address the shortcomings I have raised. I hope that my feedback will contribute to the ongoing effort to enhance the overall passenger experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter. A GREAT flagship for France!

I love the ever graceful and polite interactions with the airplane staff. How exquisite and... French ;-) I also love the delightful mixture of humor, refined elegance and Parisian tourism of your movies for safety and the guidelines: awesome!!!! Totally the French spirit and distinct creativity I grew up in. The quality of the food is however less good than many years ago and I regret that (sorry, you spoiled me). Now it is always one choice of chicken (with pasta) or one choice of "only pasta"... What about people who need no wheat? There used to be rice and fish most of the time, in the past, as an alternative, but no more. I regret that only. Besides, the chicken dish is often lacking, it often runs out before all the passengers have been given their platter. NOT NICE. Everything else is wonderful and Airfrance is my favorite company to fly with, always.

website is so easy

it was so easy to book and to change my flight using their website. I tried looking for flights on the usual group and discount sites but they require so much info and are a pain to view. I decided to just go on AirFrance for an upcoming international trip as I had flown them before. It was easy to book, the rates were below and inline with the average trip costs. I found the next day I had to change my departing flight. It was no problem and super easy. I just did it on the website by creating a login. They actually gave a credit voucher for the change as the new ticket was slightly less. I don't know what other airline lets you change economy flights with no fees.

Your service on the plane is superb

Your service on the plane is impeccable. The food is wonderful on flights to Europe from the US. The seating in Premiere Economy makes travelling on long flights so comfortable. We flew you in before the pandemic for a European trip, confirming that you are our airline of choice. For this next trip we purposely booked LAX through CDG and on to our European destination(s) & back rather than deal with another airline. Could do better: It would be nice on the website to be able to see what seats were available on a given flight when selecting a flight option BEFORE getting into the booking process.

Had to repeat booking process even after being provided a confirmation #

We went through the entire booking process and was even provided with a Booking Confirmation number, but it wouldn’t move on to the payment screen. We even requested an invoice be emailed to us, but never received one. We also refeived no booking confirmation emails. The next day I went online to our account only to find that the booking no longer existed, and had to start from scratch. The second time through everything worked as expected. This was the first time we’d ever experienced something like this when booking a flight (which we’ve done dozens of times on various airline websites)

I REALLY appreciated the time that someone spoke to me on the phone and walked me thru how to make a "multi-city" ticket purchase. I found a great fare online but wanted to have a two-day layover in Paris. I could not understand how to do this online so I called. The agent quoted me the same price and then walked me thru how to make the purchase online. It took me 45+ minutes on another airline just to talk to someone on the phone. That was not the case with Air France.

I waited 50 minutes online to speak to a representative. I finally gave up. The AI worked to a point, but referred me to a representative when my question wasn't included in the AI's capacity. Fine, no problem, I understand that. But the 50 minute wait wasn't acceptable. When I wrote a complaint on the chat, they quickly responded on chat that they would be available. I guess they don't like negative feedback (who would?). But by then it was too late at night.

I booked a one way flight to Paris on Jan 9 2025. I realiaved that prices were much better booking a multi city flight to Europe on Jan 9 and returning Sunday Jan 19 from Venice. Rebooked the flights and cancelled the one way. All was quick and simple. Only worry is that I did not recieve a confirmation email that the one way flight was cancelled thosugh did recieve that information at time. I would have liked the confirmation email. Overall great experience.

Suggestions for improvements

* Was very difficult to find the price of an additional bag. Please list this very clearly in the baggage section. * Additional filters when searching for flights will help such as number of checked bags, duration of layover and modes of transport (one option included a bus). * I was not able to purchase a ticket when I was signed into my Air France account. However, after I signed out, I was able to purchase.

The plane was dirty I didn't have a test take because it was broken off with the jagged edges poking me. When asking what I wanted to drink the attendant laughed at my drink choice, saying so American , causing the everyone section to join in and laugh at me, instead of just no that isn't an option. I'm only giving 3 stars because the other attendants were so nice and courteous.

The site was very slow and kept crashing

The site was very slow, I kept on receiving a "Sorry, something went wrong error". Had to switch to another device for the purchase to go through. Was able to purchase one ticket on one device and then it kept on crashing and receiving the above message until I switched to another device. Both devices were apple so it couldn't have been the browser or the operating system.

Almost perfect. I booked tickets - one to be reimbursed through my company, the others personal (my family) and although in the end, we're two parents travelling with our two kids, I ended up still having to purchase two seat assignments (I think it should've been one in a perfect world). I don't know how this could be fixed, but I thought I'd mention it. Best, Nicole

Awesome flight attendants. Only thing is that prices are up as you want to catch a fly and paying extra fir extra room , suitcases..travelling with a small bag for europe is not too realistic and people takes many bags inside the plane and put them anywhere and time to get off they make a type of traffic. Overall Air France is great and I actually only fly with you.

The convenience of time to get to my destination is more important than the service. On the airplane the service is great, but customer service is the worst. They are unethical, tell lies and false promises ~ they cheated me on two vouchers, claiming they were already used and they tell me I should get an email reply, but for more than 3 weeks no response.

Booking process bombed part way through and when I started over, price had gone up. Also, if booking a ticket that doesn't allow seat selection, don't bring up seat selection screen. Kayak showed only 3 seats left on flight (hence urgency to book my two tickets), but seat selection screen showed all seats apparently available. Very confusing!

I like th cleaness of the plane and the comfort compare to SN Brussels. Just add more movie please specially on the flight from Chicago to Paris , didn’t like much of the movie and most of them were French or African movie, I can understand the reason but not everybody like them so much speaking for usa citizens :). The food was great. Thanks

A bit difficult to stop travel companies from trying to serve as a middle man with in the internet. I needed/wanted to buy and see flights directly from Air France when I clicked on Air France and bing and Google got in the way with different url addresses…not your fault… thanks and looking forward to flying to Spain!!

Competent and friendly service. My wife and I have flown AF Business Class from Miami to Paris on to Marseille (round-trip) and knew the most convenient flights. We were able to book the same flights as done in the past without difficulty and completed all relevant detail without any problems.

Why Doesn't My Data Stay in your questions?

It took me easily a dozen tries to input the information you needed so I can board my flights. I can't explain this. And fields that I filled out for one questionnaire should have been filled out in every other questionnaire. As my wife said, "It's like they don't want us to fly with them."

all the extra charges

I like how easy the website is to navigate. All the extra little charges for this or that as you click economy is annoying. All people want when they fly is a ticket and an advance seat assignment. As you book you realize that if you want a bag checked, a seat, etc it is all extras.

The flight was good, staff at airport no.

The flight was good, staff at airport was rude. I had a connecting flight with Air France, and at the first point of embankment I had no issues with my bag. But the second time, I was charged an insane amount of money for the same exact bags that I was told were not a problem before.
