I ordered size 40.5, but I received size 40. Fortunately it fits not too bad, otherwise I would’ve asked for an exchange.

Dear Mr Jusuf, first of all thank you for your kind feedback on our bepsoke creations. The shoes that we made for you are size 40.5 , however in the artisanal/bespoken production we give the extra"half" size on the upper only where needed (infact we tried to call you to know more about the shape of your feet but we haven't got any reply so we gave you the extra "half" size on the whole shoe upper) , this is the reason why under the outsole it's written 40 even if the size of those shoes is 40.5 and this is also the reason why they fit perfectly on you. Superb fit and a pair of very very beautiful shoe!
Recently I ordered my first pair of shoe from Guido Maggi. One thing for sure, the customer service experience is among the very top. Guido texted me directly to get my wants and likes and patiently explained the details of all aspects (sizes, fitting, materials etc) of my shoe.
As I am in between sizes, I was asked to draw an outline of my feet and sent the drawing together with the side view of my feet to him.
With the drawing, he concluded my size and fitting.
3 weeks later, my shoe was sent from Italy to Singapore. (Very fast!)
I tried on the shoe immediately and I must tell you. It is very very nice and fit superbly.
Thank you!!!
Now looking through the catalog for my next pair.
