Terrible service, customer needs to pay for Superbalists mistake
Ordered 6 Chairs, got notification on a Saturday that only 5 will be delivered and I will be refunded for 1. Tried emailing customer service to notify them that I would rather have my order cancelled as I needed a full set of 6, it was a weekend so I couldn't call the call centre. Early Monday morning I called so as to not have a driver come deliver for no reason, nobody could assist, eventually I was told by the agent that I must lie to the driver that I'm not at home.
The most frustrating part is that I actually wanted the chairs and you guys did have stock but not 1 person that I spoke to was able to make some arrangement in order to get my full order, that I had already paid for, delivered to me. I was even told that maybe it was sitting in someone else's cart and I could not get the chair that I paid for because of this. How does that make sense? How is someone who just has an item in their cart, that hasn't checked out, given more importance than me, the customer that actually paid for the item already?
Every person that I interacted with along the way was not interested in helping me but rather just blaming another team or the process and nobody would even escalate this when I asked, the whole experience felt like a "cut & paste" answer from some manual.
Eventually I had to try and fix my own issue, I took delivery of the 5 chairs, my husband had to place a separate order for the 6th chair, the very chair that I had paid for and was not able to get but surprisingly, could be delivered to him on a new order. He paid more for the chair and had to pay R300 again for delivery of the 1 chair. The agent later did give me a R200 discount code when I complained but honestly, that doesn't do much for me, doesn't cover my extra costs incurred and definitely is not worth the stress, hassle & disappointed experienced with this order.

Lately I am very disappointed in the service, I purchased 2 items from Superbalist, in the past they would deliver the item that was ready if they had issues with stock, I called told them the item was a gift and they said they couldn’t deliver separately only for them to later cancel the one item due to issues with stock and delay my order by 4 days.
The service is excellent, and refunds are effortless. The selection of products is fantastic. It is my go-to for everything in my home. I love my H&M Fringed linen-blend cushions and Sixth Floor Matlasse Fringed Throw.

your website could be catergorized better luckily you have those friends of superbalist pages which helps you find items but other then that its a merchadising nightmare especially new releases
Too expensive...more affordable options would be great. There used be promos ,but now not any more.
