That the lily bulbs were somewhat less lush, but still within the description, and the hosta roots, despite being smaller, sprouted well, we see as a positive sign for the vitality of our products. Your note on fast processing is important: roots and bulbs like peonies, lilies, and hostas are more sensitive to long storage in packaging than tulips and daffodils. That you planted everything quickly (partially temporarily in pots) was exactly right. For the future, we recommend checking the products immediately after receiving them, storing them cool and airy, and keeping the roots slightly moist in case of delays, without letting them get wet.
