Bookbot is a very reliable service. I have now ordered from them 6 times. After ordering through Amazon the first time, I quickly realized that it was much easier and better to order direct through Bookbot’s website as I can buy in bulk to reduce the shipping and import charges per book. The books are in the same condition as advertised. A quick tip when they say that there are multiple copies of a book available: you can look at each individual copy. If you do your homework, you can get some really nice books at lower prices.

I like the whole concept of offering used books online, of nearly any language, sorted into groups of degree of wear and tear or mint condition. The ability to choose between 2 or more the same books based on price is highly advantageous - and the speed of shipping and handling is simply great. Overall I am very pleased with both my purchase and the entire experience!

I attribute 5 stars because in your shop I have found so many books I like and some which were a surprise to me because they were vintage from the '70s and I was so happy to buy them for my collection. Thank you very much indeed. I love foreign languages and history so I always have a look at your pages and would like to buy almost anything I see.

It’s really nice to be able to buy second hand books with the actual photos of the book instead of stock images. The one I purchased was indicated with ‘notable scuffs / tears’ which was fine by me. However, it has a bit of underlined text - with blue pen - on multiple pages and library stamps in multiple places which should have been disclosed I believe. I’m still happy with my purchase - fast shipping and well packaged. Thank you.

This was my first time trying Bookbot, and I was very impressed. The shipping was amazingly fast. The books I ordered were exactly the copies shown on the website, and they were in the same condition as they appeared in the photos. I will definitely be ordering from Bookbot again in the future, and I’ll gladly recommend it to my friends!

The books have been sent quickly and in the state stated in the site. No mistake has been made hence I have received all the books that I paid for. I like that I can add favourites in the site as I would like to purchase more books when they become available. I am also grateful the books are affordable as buying them new is just too expensive.

Interfata site-ului este foarte usor de accesat si este usor de cautat, iar site-ul este foarte prietenos si intoarce rezultatele foarte repede. Ceea imi place mai putin este faptul ca cartile cu adevarat valoroase au preturi foarte apropiate de cele din librarii (iau ca reper libraria on-line LIBRISTO). De exemplu, in acest moment, volumul "Salt, Fat, acid, heat"by Samin Nosrat care este serios avariat, costa 21.69 Eur, cu doar 9 Eur mai putin decat varianta noua cumparata de pe Libristo. Deci as spune, fara a generaliza, ca in anumite cazuri preturile sunt totusi prea mari pentru carti second-hand.

Veliki izbor dobrih i rijetkih knjiga. Lako naručivanje i plaćanje. Jednostavna komunikacija. Brza isporuka i dostava. Više puta sam naručivao, kao što ću nastaviti pretraživanje knjiga, zbog toga svakako preporučujem kupovinu u Bookbotu.

Great experience for first purchase. I think that the order process was surprisingly easy and I appreciate the possibility to pay by bank transfer as it was my first time using bookbot. The condition of the book was as described. Also it arrived in the promised time.

A very good service for obtaining difficult to get items. It's fast and efficient. I think that the only problem is the name. My bank was suspicious of anything with 'bot' in the name and I had to ok the purchase with my bank! Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with this service, I have used it before and will use it again.

I'm based in Australia, and was looking for German children's books at reasonable prices - postage to Australia from Europe is already a killer, so the books couldn't be too expensive. There aren't many German books available in Australia, especially for young infants, so I had to start looking overseas. I'd never heard of Bookbot before - and to be honest, the website sounded a little too good to be true. It offers an enormous selection of 50 cent+ 2nd hand books in good condition, a huge variety of great quality titles categorised beautifully, and any damage to each book is meticulously & accurately detailed. What was the catch? Did they not ship internationally? Was this a scam website? Would delivery take 3 months or more? Unbelievably, there's no catch. This website is 101% legitimate, and absolutely does everything they say they'll do - and much more. I ordered 2 boxes of children's books (I got a little excited, I'll admit - but when the books cost between 50 cents and €2 - why not?) on a Tuesday morning, and by Friday morning that same week, they were waiting for me at my front doorstep, all the way from the Czech Republic via Germany to Melbourne. AMAZING. The postage price was extremely reasonable too - thank you. :-) The books were exactly as described online, and packed so carefully. I've read (and reread) a few of them with bubs already, who adores her new library additions. To sum, Bookbot absolutely blows my mind. The service, quality & variety on offer, speed, pricing, accuracy, and overall accessibility for international customers such as myself is in a league of its own. Amazon would not be able to compete with you. I don't think I've ever had the sincere and heartfelt pleasure of saying this before to any other company I've dealt with but, based on my first (with hopefully many more to come) order with Bookbot, I cannot think of a single thing you could do to improve. Your operations are flawless (phenomenal, even), and surpassed my expectations in every way. Thank you very much, for putting such a big smile on my little girl's face.

Great choice of books and very cheap if you get the bargain books that are slightly damaged as they advertise but's it very minor and all the damaged books I bought where perfect for me. I highly recommend this website. Delivery comes quickly and always packed very well.

I am amazed at how well this secondhand bookstore works. The books are well catalogued and clearly marked for any damage or imperfections.
