The transport company let them down but the right approach saved the delay in delivery to a minimum.
I buy regularly buy via Webshops and experience very often bad service from transport companies, some in particular.
Be tougher with the transport companies that are transporting your goods. They play with you and in that case also with your customers (us).
They always find excuses when something goes wrong; we are "busy" or cannot trace a shipment from at this time or we are not able to deliver now and come later. During the transport of the goods, they cannot help you because of I do not know what for reasons.
