Got my device working again! Saving me the hassle and the economical burden of needing to purchase another one, creating more e-waste. Buying a new or second-hand device of the same model or the latest one wouldn't have improved my life, whereas keeping the one I already own by simply swapping the damaged part gives me real ownership of what I purchased. I'm happy to continue to buy from iFixit, as I know they'll continue to empower more users to use their devices for longer instead of adding to the increasing pile of perfectly repairable stuff being thrown into the trash or kept in a drawer for years.

No complaints with the exception of the delivery experience on the Bulgarian side. UPS’ Bulgarian partner, InTime, can be slow to deliver packages. My shipment was to be delivered on 20.04.26. to my address. I called InTime that day to change the delivery to the closest partner office, about a 10 minute walk from the original delivery address. This small change led to a delay in delivery. The shipment was finally delivered to its destination on 23.04.2026.

The guide is a bit optimistic, and so are some of the provided tools. The instructions are well written and helpful for people who have repaired a phone before. However, for someone with little or no repair experience, some steps may appear easier than they actually are. The guide gives the impression that the replacement process is fairly straightforward, but in practice several steps can be quite challenging and require more patience and care than expected. That said, I was able to replace the battery successfully without any major issues, and the phone is working perfectly now.

Pedí una batería para el samsung galaxy note 20 ultra, pensando que los fallos que daban serían solo provenientes de la batería, la batería vino perfectamente embalada y con todos los accesorios del kit que pedí con ella, hice el cambio de la batería siguiendo las instrucciones paso a paso de la web, y todo fue bien, si bien el móvil encendió y la batería carga bien, sigue descargándose muy rápido, pero después de investigar más a fondo determiné que no solo venía de la batería el problema, que también. Al menos la batería hará que dure un poco más hasta que decida comprar un móvil nuevo. Si en algún momento necesito reparar algún otro dispositivo, compraré sus partes aquí, la verdad que fueron eficaces con el envío y la batería que llegó lo hizo en buenas condiciones y siendo compatible con mi móvil.

Very good site if there was an option to create or have a premade bundle of screwdriver tips ( for example a bundle of philips and flat head with a number of sizes) instead of having to buy each one individually would be nice since I bought the essentials kit and I would like to have a few more tips to be able to use for different scenarios

This is my second Google pixel 7a replacement screen ordered. First one was 100%, this one was a bit awkward to fit because the connector cable was bent in a way that's pushing screen quarter of an inch down, top left side of the screen adhesive is not sticking.. so the quality of display is excellent just those couple of bits, its annoying.. yeah

The first screen I ordered for my daughter's HMD Fusion had the frame attached which wasn't removable with tooling standard supplied with the screen. Contacting the Ifixit helpdesk amazed me by the fast and friendly response. They directly offert me a refund and after HMD solved the issue I ordered a screen again. In only 30 minutes I managed to replace the screen and the phone works perfectly again.

I'm not a tech expert but everything was easy on the website. I managed to find the right battery replacement for my laptop, follow the guide for the installation and even if I had some issue with battery iniziatilization the customer support get in touch with me very quickly and they managed to solve the issue without sending another battery. They have a new loyal customer!

One of the 2 packages where not delivered, it was not mentioned in the track & trace. After mentioning that I diretcly got a reply that it will be investigated. I really like that the support organisation is responsive.

The packet was received in time. There was no iOpener (the tool to warm up in the microwave first and then use to soften the adhesive at edges), and no opening picks. I had to bought hot air gun form another vendor and some opening picks to open the back lid and replace the battery. The battery and screwdrivers and other prying tools from ifixit were correclty delivered.

Overall, great repair kit and solid experience 👍 The battery replacement kit had everything I needed, the tools were good quality, and the repair itself went smoothly. The battery works perfectly after replacement, and the step-by-step video guide was clear and easy to follow. Big plus for that. I did run into one small issue after reassembly that’s worth mentioning. I used isopropyl alcohol to dissolve the adhesive during disassembly (as shown in the guide). After putting the phone back together, I noticed small water droplets (condensation) inside the camera lenses. They eventually went away, but it was a bit stressful and unexpected. It would be really helpful if the video guide included a short warning or tip about this — for example: • letting the phone fully dry before reassembly • avoiding excess alcohol near the camera area • or waiting some time before sealing the phone back up Not a deal-breaker at all, just a heads-up that could save others some anxiety.

The speed of delivery is what surprises me the most with iFixit everytime. Prices are average, but it feels like you get a little extra quality for what you pay, versus the other stuff out there. Also, the whole idea of right to repair, and having all the parts, tools and doodads I need to enact the repairs...that's why I really keep coming back!

The battery gave new life to my MacBook Air M1. Still the computer was unusable with only 10min battery time. Now I am back to charging a few times a week. Easy install with the extra toolkit and took less than 30 min.

I have already ordered numerous times from IFIXIT and always the service and delivery was a top notch. Their customer service is also great and they have fulfilled their “lifetime warranty” claim to me, which I am very grateful for.

Original shipping arrived with a hole in the box. Rejected the delivery as it was a laptop battery. The team shipped everything again and it took 5 minutes to install my RAZER battery. Will definitely buy again from IFIXIT.

The product itself was great, such a good value for money and the tools that came with it were amazing! The delivery didn’t go so smoothly tho, ups took over two weeks to get it to my address and they didn’t even get it to my home step, also the customer service at ups was very confusing

The package was shipped quickly and securely packed. iFixit's materials are very good. However, I don't think UPS is the best carrier for this. I was supposed to sign for the package, but it was just dumped in a blanket chest on the doorstep. The delivery person didn't even ring the doorbell. Instead of a delivery window that kept getting smaller, it went from between 11 am and 3 pm to “before the end of the day”. The box also arrived quite battered. Scratches, but also small tears and significant dents.

Quick delivery, good kit for fixing phone with instructions on their site. I changed battery in Samsung Galaxy S22 by myself, so it's a great deal (cleaning the old glue off the phone was a nightmare)

I bought a replacement battery for my Google Pixel 5. The instructions on iFixit were fairly good to follow. I ordered the battery with the toolkit (extra 8 EUR). The tool kit was excellent. I particularly liked the i-opener, which means I don't have to use a hair dryer to warm the phone and weaken the adhesive. Using a hairdryer always risks overheating the phone. I was also very happy with the replacement battery. I've used AccuBattery to measure its capacity over a couple of days, and the measured capacity is essentially the same as the rated capacity. In the past, I've bought replacement batteries for phones from other websites, and the new battery only had 80% of its rated capacity. Seeing as my old battery was at 72% that wasn't much of an improvement. So, I'm very happy with iFixit and am enjoying a phone with a battery that lasts 2 days again :)
