Really solid instructions. One thought for improvement: bundle the adhesives with the battery. If the adhesive application goes wrong, users need to buy them again,but there's no spare included. The tools (screwdriver, etc.) are reusable and one-time purchases, so most people don't need multiples. It makes more sense to bundle the consumables together. Just think it'd benefit the DIY crowd and reduce waste on unnecessary tool duplication.

This was not my first order from iFixit and as always perfect service. Fast delivery, products perfectly packed therefore no damages caused by transport. Unfortunately on of the item I have purchased were broken. I have contacted the support, photos and description provided. I have received a fast answer and the item got replaced. Therefore perfect service! Definitely not my last purchase from iFixit.

Bin ehrlich überrascht und das sehr positiv. Habe einen neuen Lüfter für meine Playstation 5 bestellt (1216A Ps5 mit Disc) und bin somit von 17 auf 23 Lüfterblätter gewechselt. (23 blades 2.15A) Der Unterschied ist klar hörbar, die Playstation läuft unter Volllast deutlich leiser als davor (habe auch noch kleine O Ringe eingesetzt um mögliche Vibrationen von dem Ventilator aufs Gehäuse zu canceln). Ich sitze etwa einen halben Meter neben der Playstation und es ist nur noch Wind zu hören in sehr angenehmer Lautstärke. Einbau war Dank der Anleitung auch sehr einfach. Bin sehr zufrieden.

I ordered the pixel 9 screen repair kit. All arrived as described. I was presently surprised to see the iOpener included as I didn't notice it in the pictures of the kit. The guide was great but I was worried about the I fix it sticker on the back of the screen. It said to remove some stickers from the back of the screen, I left it there and all works as it should.

It was a delightful experience wit IFIXIT. I needed to change the battery on my late model MacBook Air and it couldn't have gone smoother. From finding the item, to ordering & payment, shipment, delivery and installation everything went without a hitch. Thank you for making the techy stuff accessible and helping to make our devices have a little more life to them. Much appreciated

I had a great experience with iFixit Store Europe. Ordering was easy, shipping was fast, and everything arrived well packaged. What I liked most was being able to order both the replacement battery and the iFixit tool kit in one place, which made the whole repair process much easier. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a small battery test report with replacement batteries, showing the measured capacity and the results of a basic functionality test. Another idea would be to add an option during checkout where customers can indicate that this is their first repair. If selected, iFixit could automatically provide a link or QR code to the correct repair guide, along with a few beginner tips. I didn't have any difficulties because this wasn't my first repair, but I can imagine that first-time customers might feel less confident or run into problems. A feature like this would make the repair process much more approachable for beginners. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely order from iFixit again.

The order arrived on time. My only complaint is to the contents of the rear cover. The bottom left speaker grill has no covering with the new case as such you have to heat and extract the one from the previous case and then shimmy it into place in the new case. The new cover also does not contain a matching sim tray and the previous one of different color had to be used. The speaker grill issue could have been mitigated with a guide specific to rear cover replacement. I don't know if the contract with Google explicitly forbids the creation of one, but the effect is that I had to use the logic board replacement guide to a point and then just quests. The parts and toolkit themselves are very high quality and arrived properly packaged and undamaged. Would recommend.

I purchased a battery replacement kit for my samsung s23, since after about 2 years of usage, the battery duration has become noticeably shorter compared to the prestine condition. The instructions were not up to date, i guess, since there were multiple occasions where what i had to do differ from what was shown in the instructions. Nothing too serious, but still puzzling. The most important aspect i'm not happy about is the battery; besides being slightly smaller than the original battery (which i hope doesn't cause any damage due to potentially moving parts in the long run), it doesn't last as long as the original battery when the phone was new. The duration of the new battery is just slightly better than the duration of the orginal battery after 2 years of usage.

The toolset is great, there was not problem with the selection of bits. The drivers metal front was scuffed but these are tools to be used! The opener was a great aid in opening the phone, there was nothing to improve apart from the use of it as the way to prop up the phones screen open with one of the suction cups, just an idea for the next revision.

I bought battery repair kits for iPhone 8 and SE 2022. Everything went smoothly, iPhone eight even recognized the battery as genuine. Regarding SE... I apple have their strict policy to keep their batteries genuine and have them changed in repair centers so you will see that you changed the battery and that the battery is not connected with your device BUT you'll see the battery health so it acts like the genuine one. If you want to keep that phone this repair kits is really something you want to try unless you want to pay for repair

The repair went easy, without any problems. The step-by-step guide on your website provides all the information needed. Along with the complete repair set there couldn't go anything wrong. If possible, add a small amount of the cleaning alcohol, then you really have everything you need for the repair.

The UPS driver delivered the product outside of the property, to be precise on the road. yes he just throwed outside our gate which is far away from the house. he didnt even show the courtesey to deliver it to the door. We got the item next day as our nice Anpost delivery man found it and bring it inside. The package was already in broken state as it left on road. Since I need it for our urgent repair, I didnt request for replacement item. But very unhappy with the purchase, specifcally the delivery.

Well packaged and more than complete! This set for replacing the battery pack of a 2017 macbook pro had all I needed and more. Spare parts for things that could get lost or break (like the triangles and cards), sufficient protective gear. And of course the excellent guide in my native tongue! Great experience overall!

Bought a replacement battery for my 2019 RazerBlade15 laptop, breathed some new life into her (I've also transition to Ubuntu as my full-time daily driver). The ifixit replacement instructions were pretty straightforward, and the small toolkit I also bought had everything I needed.

Got my device working again! Saving me the hassle and the economical burden of needing to purchase another one, creating more e-waste. Buying a new or second-hand device of the same model or the latest one wouldn't have improved my life, whereas keeping the one I already own by simply swapping the damaged part gives me real ownership of what I purchased. I'm happy to continue to buy from iFixit, as I know they'll continue to empower more users to use their devices for longer instead of adding to the increasing pile of perfectly repairable stuff being thrown into the trash or kept in a drawer for years.

Ordered several tools and parts already to maintain my iPhones and MacBook. Everything works correctly. And something doesn't work as expected, they provided a part for replacement for free.

I found every step perfectly easy and well thought out. I was especially impressed when I had already placed items in my shopping cart, then wen to make my user profile. The shopping cart persisted! Good programming.

The transport was not so nice it says it will be delivered in 4 days but it wasn't delivered to my house it was dilivered to a post office in 5 days and i got like 6 different emails that felt a little bit spammy, the Screen was perfekt.

No complaints with the exception of the delivery experience on the Bulgarian side. UPS’ Bulgarian partner, InTime, can be slow to deliver packages. My shipment was to be delivered on 20.04.26. to my address. I called InTime that day to change the delivery to the closest partner office, about a 10 minute walk from the original delivery address. This small change led to a delay in delivery. The shipment was finally delivered to its destination on 23.04.2026.

It was my first time replacing a battery, and it was a bit difficult — not because of the replacement itself, but because the original battery wouldn’t come out even with liquid. I still managed it. With the manual from iFixit, the next steps were easy.
